How to use
Preparation:
You don't need to wash your hair before using our Blue Shampoo. It contains a sulpfate-free surfactant that effectively cleanses your hair, making it a convenient 2-in-1 product (cleanses + tones). However, if your hair has oils or styling products like gels or hairsprays, it's advisable to use a regular shampoo beforehand.
Frequency:
- You can use Blue Shampoo up to 2 times a week to maintain and refresh your hair color.
- Alternate between your regular shampoo and Blue Shampoo for the best results.
Application:
- Wet Your Hair: Start by thoroughly wetting your hair, as you would with any shampoo.
- Apply Blue Shampoo: Squeeze a generous amount of the shampoo into your palm and work it into your wet hair. Ensure even distribution, paying extra attention to areas with visible orange or red tones.
- Adjust Time Based on Hair Porosity: Consider your hair porosity to determine the ideal waiting time. For low porosity hair (slow moisture absorption), you can leave the product for up to 10 minutes. If you have high porosity hair (quick product absorption), 5 minutes is sufficient.
- Let It Sit: Unlike standard shampoo, evenly apply Blue Shampoo from the ends to the roots. Leave it on for the recommended duration (usually 5 to 10 minutes) to let the color-correcting pigments work their magic.
- Rinse Thoroughly: Once the time is up, rinse the shampoo completely from your hair, ensuring no product residue remains. Use cool water for rinsing to close the hair cuticles, leaving your hair smoother and frizz-free.
